Toraigh (she/they) is a London-based DJ and producer deeply rooted in the city’s queer electronic music scene.
She has played at parties including Joyride, Queer Edge, and Honcho, alongside festival appearances at Queens Yard Summer Party and Body Movements. Her sets fuse driving, percussive rhythms with euphoric melodic elements, informed by her queer identity and a love for underground dance music.
Alongside her DJ work, Toraigh hosts a monthly residency on Voices Radio, where she releases mixes showcasing her evolving sound, and runs a show on Aaja Radio focused on music production and peer-led conversation. These platforms reflect her commitment to community-building and knowledge-sharing within the local electronic music scene.
In 2025, Toraigh was awarded the Help Musicians / DJ Mag Electronic Music Award, supporting the release of her debut EP later this year. Her productions draw from both underground electronic and her background in Irish traditional music, resulting in a distinctive approach to dance music. Her debut single The Morrigan, released in May 2025, offers an early insight into this hybrid sound.
Looking ahead to 2026, Toraigh will launch a new residency for her event series, Club Rua, at EarTH Kitchen, supported by Arts Council England’s Grassroots Music Fund. Evolving from DIY beginnings into a sustainable club platform, Club Rua is a queer-led night prioritising FLINTA DJs and underground electronic music.
