Shauna’s (she/her) mesmeric DJ sets effortlessly weave together progressive house, techno, and trance, taking the audience on a sonic journey across the cosmos. Cutting her teeth on the Leeds scene, Shauna has played at some of the city’s most iconic venues including Mint Warehouse, Wire, Old Red Bus Station, and Sheaf St, returning to her spiritual home in 2024 to play at Boiler Room’s Beaverworks takeover.
Shauna’s eclectic selections, paired with her energetic approach to mixing, have earned her support slots for the likes of I. JORDAN, PLANNINGTOROCK, Elkka, and Kettama to name a few. Shauna has also guested on Bicep’s Feel My Bicep podcast with a mix made up of tracks by female, non-binary, and queer artists.
In 2020, Shauna began producing, quickly establishing herself as one to watch when her first release, DC, was played by Ross From Friends on his Boiler Room from isolation. A slew of releases quickly followed, with many of Shauna’s tracks gaining the attention of Jaguar on Radio 1’s Introducing Dance show, as well as DJ support from I. JORDAN, Saoirse, and Martha to name a few.
Shauna runs the Working Classics labels, which showcases tracks from queer producers from across the dance music spectrum. She is also a key part of SISU, a community providing a platform to educate, inspire, and support women and non-binary DJs and producers.
