Jacki-E

Jacki-E (she/her) is a Techno and Drum and Bass DJ and Producer from North Wales. She has two radio shows, A Darker Wave and Draw The Line Radio Show. The former focuses on new techno releases, the latter on music made by women as a counterweight to the gender imbalance in dance music. Jacki-E creates a brand new mix for each show in genres such as techno, drum and bass, jungle, bass house, garage, tech house, indie dance, progressive, reggae, indie pop and lots more.

She’s played DJ sets in clubs in Germany (Berlin & Cologne) and all over the UK. She's held a drum and bass DJ Residency at Roxy’s in Hemel Hempstead and is currently a resident DJ at The DNB Takeover, an on line monthly mix series. This year she’s played DJ sets at Void Liverpool, Gibbo’s Bar & Nightclub, Oswestry (previously Ro-Loz), Landed Festival, Deevstock Festival, Llangollen Fringe Festival & many others.

She’s had releases of her own techno & dnb tracks on Mavic Music, Get Physical, Technological Records, Industrial Echo Records, DeepDownDirty, Dead Groovy, Platz fur Tanz, Nahual Records & many others. She’s also a member of the DJ Collectives Sisu Crew and female:pressure.

Her influences are the techno, deep house, jungle, dnb and the ethos of the acid house raves and festivals of the early 90's.
