INVERNO (no pronouns) means “winter” in Portuguese, yet their performances are anything but cold. With a genre‑fluid, enigmatic approach, they blend deep/hypnotic techno, drones, ambient, and breaks into ritualistic, surprise‑filled journeys that often stray from the standard 4/4 beat.

As head of KLEM, an experimental label for ambient, lo‑fi, and techno, INVERNO releases original productions and contributes to numerous VA compilations. In 2019 they founded the FLINTA‑focused collective BLVSH, championing exposure, peer support, and promotion for women, trans, non‑binary, and gender‑dissident talent.

Recognised with the 2022 Tag der Clubkultur award and featured on Groove Mag’s 2023 Newcomers list, INVERNO regularly performs at Renate, Zur Klappe, Tresor, Fuchs2 (CZ), LeftBank (Tbilisi), and OXI. They also speak on club‑economics, most recently at a Goethe‑Institut‑backed panel in Tbilisi on building economic resilience for clubs in political crises.
