Regardless of the genre or style of music, Calaida is all about creating a feel-good atmosphere. The DJ, producer and musician draws influences from a multitude of genres, including soul, hip-hop, jazz, house, and afro/latin sounds. Highlights include sharing the stage with the likes of De La Soul’s DJ Maseo, Wu-Tang Clan affiliate Killah Priest, Nubya Garcia, and Mina, and performing at festivals such as We Out Here and Boomtown. 

She also co-hosts events across London; with the And What? LDN collective, as well as new club night SUBMISSION alongside DJ/producer Noh Vae. What you’re sure to find weaving through any Calaida set is a soulful, infectious groove; “if it feels right, it’s alright”.
