Inspired by physical records and underground dance music values, Ani Phoebe is a HK-based Chinese American DJ and promoter whose polyglot background and many years spent digging across Rio de Janeiro and Hong Kong have led to a unique globally attuned and modern sound. She has toured Asia, Australia, Europe, and the US, playing at underground festivals, parties, and clubs like Camp Cosmic, Divagations, Renate, Sameheads, Zodiac, Savage, Transport, Good Room and more. 

Establishing her musical curations through her party Bad Times Disco in Hong Kong, she has proved that there is a fertile space for sharing flavors of dance-inflected music from around the world and niche sub-genres to a dedicated community of artists, musicians, and open-minded music lovers. You can expect diverse sets from this versatile DJ, and depending on the country and opportunity, she bounces from more Latin house uptempo dance sets to daytime balearic dance to deeper, dubbier, wrongspeeder cosmic selections.

Ani has forged dancefloors with important community values, running mutual aid fundraisers and solidarity campaigns, and created a strong global network of leftfield alternative parties and festivals promoting underknown music and important social messages.
